Tegucigalpa M.D.C.- The National Commission of Banks and Insurance (Comisión Nacional de Bancos y Seguros), through the Management of Education and Financial Inclusion and Gender, participated in the inter-institutional fair that was held this Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in the Plaza del Poder Judicial, of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), with the aim of achieving the elimination of all forms of violence and raising awareness in the prevention of abuse.
The event, where more than 26 government institutions participated, exhibited their products through an information stand, where attendees were able to obtain information printed on pamphlets and as a sign of support for the campaign, men and women left their footprints Invoking the slogan “JUNT@S WE ARE VOICE, WE ARE TOD@S, FREE OF VIOLENCE, on a canvas using the color palette alluding to the campaign.
This is part of the activities scheduled to support the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence initiative, which began on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls, and ends on December 10, Human Rights Day. People and organizations around the world have turned it into an organizing strategy to call for the prevention and eradication of violence against women and girls.
Likewise, the staff of the Directorate of Institutional Image, Communication and Protocol (DIICP), used the space to promote the institution’s social media platforms so that through them they can publicize the work of the CNBS, the importance of products, concepts, financial services, as well as avoid undesirable situations derived from indebtedness. and how to prepare ourselves when the time comes to retire or retire once we achieve financial freedom.
The CNBS continues to promote and accompany the fight against the elimination of all types of violence, every day from our spaces we have the opportunity to demonstrate with our facts and actions the origin of the culture of prevention.
