The Comisión Nacional de Bancos y Seguros dialogue with the Banco Central de Reserva de El Salvador about the experiences in the roadmap for the financial inclusion of women in the Honduran financial system.

On October 11 and 12, 2023, the Comisión Nacional de Bancos y Seguros (CNBS), was present at the IV Central American Forum on Financial Inclusion that took place in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador, where Ligia Marcela Herrera Salgado, Manager of Education and Financial Inclusion and Gender, represented this institution in such an important event.
This forum provided a space for exchange on financial inclusion and its social impact with a gender perspective in Central America, identifying mechanisms to overcome gender gaps in access to and quality of productive and financing resources.
Ms. Herrera actively participated in the planned activities sharing experiences, best practices and lessons learned to reduce gender gaps in access to capital and for investment with a gender perspective.
